Hartz Avenue Burglar Hits Eight Businesses in One Night

A baseball signed by Nolan Ryan, laptops, cameras and other electronics were stolen on July 30.

Boxing gloves autographed by Muhammad Ali is among the items swiped in a string of burglaries that hit eight businesses along Hartz Avenue on July 30.

The suspect forced entry into a main upstairs entry at 301 Hartz Ave., and entered surrounding businesses, including Jero’l Salon & Spa and State Farm Insurance offices.

Cameras, computers and other sports memorabilia, including a baseball signed by Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan, were stolen.

Danville Police Detectives have identified a suspect and are working on the case.
