New Cafe A Kiss For Danville Diners

Grand opening for new Baci Cafe set for July 5.

Michael and Sabrina Hughes want to do something special for their neighbors in Danville, so they're bringing their own brand of quality dining to town.

The duo, who already operate two restaurants in Pleasanton, will soon open Baci Cafe in Danville at the Safeway Stores shopping center. The grand opening is set for July 5, with a soft opening a couple days earlier.

"We have deep connections to Danville and we want to give back to the community," Michael Hughes said.

Michael had his eye on the Camino Tassajara location for some time, so as soon as a space recently opened up, he and Sabrina jumped at the opportunity.

"It was perfect," Michael said. "We've wanted to open a restaurant in Danville for some time now. We were just waiting for the right time, and this worked out perfectly."

The Baci Cafe website describes the restaurant as "a classy casual setting." As Michael describes it, the restaurant will cater to those looking for a fun night out, and also to today's busy families. Baci Cafe will feature an open kitchen and several televisions, so diners near the bar can watch the game or catch up on kitchen ideas on the Food Network. For those who prefer to dine at home, Baci will also offer delivery and pickup services.

The menu, with fresh seafood, steaks, hamburgers and pasta dishes, features "the kind of food I enjoy," Michael said.

"We are excited to share our incredible food and service to all our friends in the Danville community," Michael said.
