La Boulange Café & Bakery Goes Pink

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

BY JANE McINNIS

La Boulange Café & Bakery
will be going pink for the month of October.

The French bakery will be selling special box sets of pink macarons and donating a portion of the money raised toward breast cancer prevention and research.

The box of seven macarons, featuring Passion fruit mango, cherry and raspberry, will sell for $12.50 with $1 of every box sold going toward the non-profit Bright Pink organization, which focuses on prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in women.

Box sets of 14 and 21 macarons will also be available.

La Boulange Café & Bakery was founded in San Francisco, featuring French pastries and healthy brunch options.
