Aimee Grove, Neighbor

As a native of Danville who trudged the halls of Green Valley Elementary, Los Cerros Junior High (we didn't call it "Middle School" back in those days) and Monte Vista, I spent the bulk of my adult life living in San Francisco, swearing I would never return to the 'burbs east of the Caldecott. Yet, back I am, husband and son in tow, enjoying the pleasures of my hometown once again and learning firsthand why so many families choose to settle in here.

During the week, I am a working mom (which seems an anomaly in Danville sometimes) who commutes into The City three days a week to serve as VP of a public relations firm. In addition, I am in the middle of writing a funny, gift book about the experiences of being a working mom, in conjunction with fellow Danville native, Marcie Carson.
