The Alamo Municipal Advisory Council is comprised of seven members that serve as an advisory body to the Contra Costa…More County Board of Supervisors and the County planning agency.</p>
<p>Members were appointed to the council by the Board of Supervisors in 2009 to serve the unincorporated area of Alamo.</p>
<p>The council is currently overseen by Mary Piepho, who represents district III for the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors.</p>
<p>MAC responsibilities include parks and recreation, lighting and <br />landscaping, land-use and code enforcement, public safety, transportation and other county services. </p>
