Um, Danville Resident, I was the kid kicking up dust on the SRVHS football field and guess what?? 6Read More months later I was in Marine Corps boot camp.. I'm pretty sure I'm qualified to compare the two! I have personally known every Varsity Football Coach at SRVHS for the last 30 years. I think I am also qualified to judge their general character on and off the field! Way to gloss over the part about "Favorite female body part" not necessarily being Genitalia related BTW, it did not go unnoticed. So you equate female body parts specifically to genitalia, I say keep your filthy thoughts to yourself.. 15-18 year old young men have the ability to live as adults in most other Countries of the world, are you saying our young men are less capable?? My coaches at SRVHS were plenty physically demanding of our teams and salty language was quite normal/expected in those days. My 2 UC Berkeley degrees prove there was no mental damage done. My chest full of military ribbons and medals show that it wasn't detrimental to my physical being. The business I have owned for over 10 years is proof that I am a successful leader and businessman. Do you have any proof that Coach Kessler was behind the "Body Part" question?? Do you have any proof that he was even present at that time? This entire situation smacks of a personality conflict between the Principal and Coach. Word is the AD wasn't in favor of dismissing Coach Kessler. Looks like the Principal overrode the AD. Coach Kessler is a great Coach, a firm but caring educator, and would go to battle over any one of his students if they needed help! Your disparaging commentary is proof of sour grapes towards some entity within this situation. Danville is MY community, I fought on foreign soils as a Danville son and I continue to defend her and those who make her a better place to live! Mark Kessler is one of those individuals!
