Weren't the two officers mentioned in the above article part of Mary Nolan's scheme as well? HowRead More come nothing more has been mentioned about Mary Nolan, Attorney from San Ramon that hired PI's to hide recording machines on clients spouses cars to use as evidence in divorce / spousal support hearings?

My recommendation is 0.00 % - way to many accidents happen under influence [each body reactsRead More different to every sip of alcohol]

Great another one of our fine communitys outstanding citizens going to be fitted an Orange JumpsuitRead More courtesy of the CDC..... Who's next....

You know AngryBlackLady, as a black woman who ISN'T "angry", but who battles the angryRead More black woman stereotype every single day, your post just added fuel to that fire. While you do make some valid points in your post, I guess I just go back to wise words of my beloved late mom, who believed that it's not what we say, but the way we say it.

While I am happy that this girl was found safe and sound, I too wonder how the parents were able toRead More receive the support that they did from the Danville police and the Danville Patch with midnite alerts and follow up to this runaway teen story. Just this past year, I have reported a missing child and also live in Danville, but did not receive this kind of support. Lastly, I am curious why "Jeanette" thinks she knows the whole story. It's obvious she knows nothing about the family at all.

Well I see the Danville Patch changed their mind and after many days of nothing, you are now actingRead More responsible. Thank you And by the way folks...I agree with the Angry Black Lady...she is correct...The Danville PD play with a double standard. And thank you for listening, this is just my opinion. My heart aches for the Schramm family. What a terrible tragedy for everyone. Thoughts and prayersRead More from Sondra and Fred Peppe

I know Ken Beasley. He is an honest man! Buyers sound like they wanted their cake, Ice cream andRead More someone to spoon feed them to! Buyers better have PROOF BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT! They, by themselves have ruined Mr. Beasley's reputation! Slander is no joke! Deflamation of charactor is even worse! If I were a Lawyer, I would be looking for Mr. Beasley just to represent him! Shame on the buyers for not swallowing the medicine we all have had to swallow! What makes them so special? Oh, that's right......... They already have more then enough Money to hire a Lawyer!
Tom Gordon April 17, 2013 at 02:27 pm
2006??. If he bought Las vegas property then its worth about a third of it's prevoius value.Read More Sounds like Beasley did the buyers a favor putting the property. Buyers sour grapes turns into embezzlement and bad publicity.

If you really believe that our government (or any government) will keep you SAFE you are delusional.Read More Stay away from shopping centers, movie theaters, gas station (gasoline is very volatile), convenience stores (lots of robberies) and any other place where there are other people. Also, unless you are 100% Native American, you or your family members emigrated from somewhere else.
denised April 16, 2013 at 12:55 pm
I guess our government can't keep us safe. Even though they said they had checked the route withRead More bomb sniffing dogs, etc. Our Homeland Security is not working! Our enemies are among us and that will not change as long as we have relaxed immigration laws. Let's give them all amnesty and they will pour in even more.
Bob Nichols April 17, 2013 at 09:54 pm
Tom, You are so right! Roger and Laura are very involved and responsible parents. I hope others takeRead More heed to this. I am the childrens Uncle in Arizona and it was not easy. Never leave your kids alone on a night out. Uncle Bob
Tom April 16, 2013 at 03:08 pm
One more thing I would like to add. This is why smart parents hire a sitter. You never know whenRead More your children will need an adult to manange a crisis when you are out. So many these days leave a young child alone and do not consider the risk. Good job here Mom and Dad!
Tom April 16, 2013 at 03:02 pm
Of course I am sorry the fire happened but thank God noone was injured or worse. To the family andRead More the sitter, I wish you all well.

MissA hit it right on the nose. All those Moms in SUV's who think their lives are so much moreRead More important then everyone else that they can use their cell phones while driving. It's not just Blackhawk area. Downtown around Trader Joes and Lunardis, along El Capitan and Camino Ramon I always see someone talking while holding a phone in one hand and driving with the other. Whenever I need to use my cell phone in the car I pull over and park. Also when I'm at a store I wait till I get to my car to have a conversation--sorry to whoever is waiting for my parking spot but distraction free driving and not imposing my phone conversation on everyone around me is more important.
MissA April 10, 2013 at 01:00 am
They should just plant themselves in and around Blackhawk Safeway and the BH Plaza.....and be sureRead More to check all the SUVs...especially just before and just after school time ... I see at least 2-3 of these idiots a day on their phones....and texting at the red lights....holding up traffic, endangering lives...
Michael Littman's Neighbor March 30, 2013 at 01:35 am
If you kill someone you deserve to rot in a prison. Michael Littman seems to have a couple ofRead More neighbors that like him more than Dorris Penico did. But he still remains a killer and he deserves to rot in hell.
David Lehman March 26, 2013 at 01:35 pm
It seems he was a violent person . Video cameras don't lie....but. let the courts decide his fateRead More not us in a forum
Nrj March 22, 2013 at 08:06 pm
These comments from the CC County Sherriff’s Department seem very one sided, making MichaelRead More Littman out to be a paranoid and violent individual. If you were to ask any neighbor living in the immediate vicinity of the Penicos they would have a much different perception. Every one of them would say Doris and Victor Penico were very odd people and many of these neighbors would say these two individuals’ overly aggressive behavior (especially Doris’s) directly or indirectly let to this incident. Don’t let anyone fool you into thinking Doris and Victor were just normal people minding their own business; they were far, far from it.

The Partition area, wide opened, is approx 12inches in height. A survivor said she squeezed to getRead More thru, so obviously it was not opened all the way by the driver to allow the women an escape-access! Also, Ive read that 3 survivors escaped thru the right back door..., so why couldnt the others? In the TV News pics, the Survivors sat calmly on the side of the road... looked numb & out of it? I would have been jumping, yelling, trying to stop traffic to help us! It was hard for me to see them just sitting there quietly..., were they intoxicated? In shock? I wish the driver had, in a 2 second flash, opened the Partition all the way down as he "jumped out to save his skin" & gone to the right side to secure the door open. The flames were left-sided rear. OR was he thinkg that more air/ O2 would have lit up fire more, OR was his electricity out by the Fire? DID he try breakg a rear window open w/ his shoe at least? All of it is puzz'ling & a tragedy that has so so many unanswered questions. We count on the Captain to help us..., but remember the sunk Greek cruise ship?? Captain got off & rowed away first!! My heart goes out to the deceased here, and survivors as well.

Well it's nice to see the police log is not like what the police log is reading in Oakland orRead More Richmond...We know Danville has it's issues...but not as bad as others. Thank God for that.
Nadja Adolf May 2, 2013 at 06:22 pm
Cool. Fascinating. "Well-regulated" had nothing to do with multiple laws restrictingRead More access; it actually had to do with "regulating" or adjusting the firearm itself for accuracy and reliability. Nor did it have anything to do with an organized, government sponsored formal militia - that was the "select" militia. So, do you think that waiting periods for abortions are reasonable? If it is acceptable to require a waiting period, or whatever for firearms ownership, isn't that equally applicable to abortion? What about unstable women who might make the decision for irrational reasons? Or having one in the heat of the moment after a family argument?
Nadja Adolf May 2, 2013 at 06:18 pm
No, TG. There are not "more barriers" to car ownership than to firearms ownership. YouRead More are not legally required to register a vehicle or have a license unless you choose to drive it on the public roads. I have noticed that criminals are quite handy at obscuring license plates, and often use stolen vehicles. In any event, driving is privilege, while firearms ownership is a right.
Nadja Adolf May 2, 2013 at 06:15 pm
Oh, and you are aware that the Warren case determined that the police have no duty to protect?

Mr. Hogarty: Were you "truly sorry" when you listed the victims named in these charges inRead More your fraudulent bankruptcy that was thrown out in an attempt to make it impossible for them to seek refunds from you? Why wait to tell the truth until after this is over? Wouldn't you want to tell the courts the truth before this is settled? Which version of the truth should we expect to hear? The version you told the DOJ that led to the perjury charges against you? You've not been silent at all and your previous comments over the last two years are all over this web site and many others. You are still not a victim no matter how hard you try to make yourself out to be. Please tell the truth to the courts, admit what you did and accept the consequences so everyone can move on. Your co-conspirators have apparently spilled it and it appears that the hundreds of thousands of tax payer money spent on audits of you supports what they've said. Be honest and then throw yourself at the mercy of the courts. And don't do anyone any favors by not "going public" with your latest version of the "truth" until the charges are settled. If the truth is so angelic, why wouldn't you use the "truth" as a defense to these criminal charges?
If you only knew May 14, 2013 at 12:05 am
Mr. Hogarty: Were you "truly sorry" when you listed the people named as victims in theRead More charges filed when you tried to claim them in your bankruptcy as creditors? Why wait to tell the truth until after the charges are resolved? Wouldn't you be inclined to tell the truth to the courts instead of lying to them which led to the perjury charge you now face? You should come clean, admit what you did and accept the consequences so everyone can move on. These are not rumors, something you know, and something your co-conspirators admitted to the DA and/or under oath in a federal proceeding. Please do post the check you gave Ms. Jacobs as proof you kept part of the feed you defrauded her out of for yourself. I'm sure the DA would appreciate it too.

He's out on bail. $100K I think. I don't know how he got a license to sell insurance if he has oneRead More since he has other convictions and had his real estate license revoked many years ago.
