Gotta support the independent bookstores! Plus, Michael, the owner, does a fabulous job bringing in a variety of authors for locals to meet and he organizes great visits/field trips for local schools. The staff is knowledgeable about genres of books and will help if you're looking for a new title. I once bumped into Terry McMillan there! (Think: "How Stella Lost her Groove.") Didn't know who she was when I first started talking with her and she ended up buying books for my niece stating she loved that young people were so into reading. Imagine how silly I felt when I realized who she was! What a giving soul!
