Friends of The Danville Library

<p>This nonprofit organization has been supporting the Danville Library since 1958. Run by volunteers, it collects books donated from people in the community. The books that don't go right onto the library shelves are sold at the Friends bookstore, located inside the library.</p> <p>The bookstore includes used books of every genre at discounted prices. The organization holds quarterly book sales where you can buy used books for extremely cheap prices.</p> <p>Friends of the Danville Library also sponsors children's programs, a book discussion group and special activities. Funds are raised through memberships, donations and book sales.</p>
