The Dorris-Eaton School is a private, independent and coeducational college preparatory day school for preschoolers through eighth graders. The Alamo campus offers preschool and junior kindergarten programs, while students in kindergarten through eighth grade are taught at the school's Walnut Creek campus. Established by educators Doris Dorris and Virginia Eaton, the school enrolls 440 students under the leadership of Head of School Gerald Ludden and Director Nancee Watson. Specialized departments for kindergarten through eighth grade include art, music, physical education, Spanish and computer applications. Uniforms are required and team sports are offered for grades six to eight.
