Since its founding four decades ago, Beth Chaim Congregation has shared its vibrant Jewish heritage with the greater Tri-Valley community, serving as a synagogue, religious school and as a center for life-cycle events.
Led by spiritual leader, Rabbi Dan Goldblatt, membership within the congregation has expanded from 82 families in 1995 to approximately 270 families currently. Beth Chaim is unaffiliated with any particular branch of Judaism and seeks to include individuals and families of all religious backgrounds in their programs. The mission of Beth Chaim Congregation is to provide 'spiritual, social, cultural and educational programs for adults and children that respond to the needs and interests of our members.' In fulfillment of this mission, the congregation offers worship and celebration services, youth and continuing adult education, small group support, community service opportunities, charity fundraisers and a wealth of other events. The Beth Chaim facilities on Holbrook Drive are also available for personal, group and business meeting needs, celebrations and special events. More information about renting Beth Chaim's facilities for private parties, weddings and other assemblies can be found on the congregation's website.
