I had the wonderful opportunity to paint with Barbara Davies. During the four years I learned so much about myself and what I want from my art. She encourages and guides while always respecting your individual style. She has the capacity to bring out the best of you as an artist. What a gift she was to me. I would still be painting with Barbara but a live too far away. I also attended a drawing class from her talented son Evan. What a talent! Loved it!

I have taken oil painting lessons from Barbara and she is a great teacher. She taught me alot about color and encourages everyone to paint in their own style and not just copy her. I have seen her teach all ages and she is very professional and is encouraging and enthusiastic to all. Anyone from a beginner to someone like myself who has painted for several years will learn from her.
My 11 y.o. son started painting lesson with Barbara in 2011 when we moved to Danville. My son really enjoys going to his weekly art class. The class size is small, each student gets a lot of one on one instruction and assistance.
Barbara is a fantastic instructor and her gallery is at a great location in Danville.
Nice little gallery. I'm taking painting classes from Barbara Davies and I'm just loving it. My son is also taking drawing classes with Evan Davies, an extremely talented young man. They also have a nice selection of original artwork and prints.

My granddaughters (ages 10 and 13) have taken art lessons from Barbara and thoroughly enjoy her soft spoken, personal teaching methods. They feel so comfortable with her and she brings out the best in them, encouraging them to explore color, space and movement. The new location of her gallery is wonderful, convenient and the exhibitions there are lovely!
