The San Ramon Valley Wolves (2-3, 1-0) started their EBAL play with a win against the Livermore Cowboys (2-4, 0-2) 41-10 on Oct. 4, 2013.
With the score tied 7 all at the end of the first, SRV needed a momentum swing.
Midway through the second quarter Mitchell Allen and the Wolves Defense stopped the Cowboys from scoring on fourth and goal. Matt Winaker drove the SRV offense 99 1/2 yards to cap the drive off with the go-ahead touchdown with a little over a minute left in the half. It was all San Ramon from there. Running back Marcus De La Pena finished with 204 yards and four touchdowns.
San Ramon Valley will play its Homecoming game against Amador Valley (4-1, 1-1) next Friday (10/11) at 7 p.m. at San Ramon Valley High.
Livermore has a bye week before playing at Amador Valley on 10/18.
