Thousands spent hours for a few seconds with 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick on Friday.
It was part of the re-grand opening at the Safeway on Camino Tassajara. The event, sponsored by Gatorade, was promoted over social media and people from around the Bay Area descended on Danville to see quarterback that led the Niners to the Super Bowl.
