VIDEO: San Ramon Valley High Wears Pink at Granada

A full moon Friday night set a warm glow on the field as San Ramon Valley High defeated Granada.

On Friday, Oct. 18, San Ramon Valley High traveled to Livermore to face Granada.

On the first drive the Matadors stalled in the red zone forcing a field goal to take the early lead. San Ramon followed by marching down the field finishing with a Marcus De La Pena Touchdown run taking the lead 7-3.

Granada scored midway through the second quarter regaining the lead 7-10. After a three and out the Matadors capitalized with a Field goal with 90 ticks before half. Trying to put more points up, Granda was intercepted with 30 seconds left in the half. The Wolves were able to drive into the red zone and kick a field goal with 10 seconds remaining, making 10-13 Granada at half.

By the start of the fourth quarter, the score was tied 20-20. The Wolves were able to outscore Granada in the 4th quarter making the final score 31-26 San Ramon.

San Ramon Valley (4-3, 3-0) plays at California (6-1, 4-0) on Friday which will most likely decide who wins the East Bay Athletic League.

Granada (4-3, 1-2) plays at Foothill (6-1, 2-1) on Friday.
