Jessica and Maggie Steffens spoke to hundreds at Oak Hill Park in Danville on Saturday.

Danville greeted its two gold medal-winning water polo players at Oak Hill Park on Saturday.

Jessica and Maggie Steffens both spoke to the crowd for about 10 minutes and talked about growing up in Danville and their experience playing in the London Olympics.

The Town of Danville hosted the event and hundreds of residents were in attendance to cheer on the town's newest Olympic heros.

My Junior at SRVHS is in the guinea pig class for the new curriculum. The new curriculum started with AP Biology this year and it has been a disappointment. Parents, including myself, really need to educate ourselves on this. I thought this was a State program not a Fed program. Great...
