Tassajara Valley Wins District 57 Little League Championship
The 10 and 11 year olds of the Tassajara Valley Little League beat San Ramon this week to win the championship.
Tassajara Valley won the District 57 Little League 10- and 11-year-old championship Wednesday, beating San Ramon Little League 9-5.
The team had to overcome adversity coming through the "losers bracket" and had to beat San Ramon twice on consecutive days.
On Monday, TVLL beat San Ramon 13-8, scoring 11 unanswered runs after being down 8-2 in the fifth inning
