The Golden State Warriors are leaving Oakland and heading to San Francisco. The team is expected to announce the details Tuesday morning, the Contra Costa Times has reported.
The NBA franchise isn't expected to move, however, until 2017, when the team would be able to get out of its current lease.
The Warriors' willingness to leave is "a slap in the face," said Chris Dobbins, founder of Save Oakland Sports and a member of the Coliseum Authority, which oversees the municipally-owned complex that includes Oracle Arena.
"We're very upset," Dobbins said.
Monte Vista High School alum was recently named general manager of the team.
Are you upset? How often do you go to Warriors' games now? Does the team moving to San Francisco change your opinion of it? Will you still attend Warriors' games when them team is playing in San Francisco?
