No Ghosts, but Historic Characters at the Alamo Cemetery

In the spirit of Halloween, come and visit our local cemetery located on the border of Danville and Alamo!  There won't be ghosts to frighten you, but you will meet some historic characters when you visit the Alamo Cemetery the day before Halloween.

The Museum of the San Ramon Valley is hosting its annual Autumn Tour of the Alamo Cemetery on Saturday, October 30, at 10:00 a.m.   Those participating should meet at the front gate of the Cemetery located at the end of El Portal near La Gonda Way in Danville.    The tour is only $3.

Museum docents, who enjoy researching and portraying the lives of our Valley pioneers, will be there in costume talking to visitors about  their characters in the San Ramon Valley.   Some "ghosts of the past" you might meet include early settlers Travis Boone, R.O. and Mary Cox Baldwin, Mary Ann Jones, Mary Weidemann, Charles Wood and his daughter Charlotte.
