Danville Senior Sneaker Trips - China Camp State Park and Guide Dogs

This day will be packed with adventure throughout San Rafael and Tiburon. First stop is China Camp State Park, where a naturalist will show us around the natural watershed on the shore of San Pablo Bay. It sits on 1,500 acres and includes a variety of natural communities, as well as sweeping waterfront views. Tiburon, a beautiful town located just north of San Francisco, is where you will have time to shop and dine (at your own leisure). For those who haven't visited the Guide Dogs for the Blind Campus (in San Rafael), please make sure you sign up for this trip! Our docent will take us through the kennels, puppy socialization area and veterinary clinic. Guide Dogs for the Blind provides enhanced mobility to qualified individuals through partnership with dogs whose unique skills are developed and nurtured by dedicated volunteers and a professional staff. 

Activity Level 4-5 (Level 4: Heavy amount of walking/standing.  Level 5: Strenuous walking/hiking)  

The Town of Danville's Senior Sneakers program is a great way for you to make new friends and get out and around the greater Bay Area. There's always something new to see and learn.
