The Danville Area Chamber of Commerce announces the First Annual Father’s Day Classic Car Show, Sunday June 17, 10A-5P, East Prospect Avenue in beautiful downtown Danville! Bring Dad down to check out 30-35 of the most cherry ‘Vettes, Rods, and Classics! Four Awards will be presented: The Mayor’s Award, The Danville Area Chamber of Commerce Award, The Danville Fine Arts Faire Award, and the East Prospect Merchants Award. Come for the car show and stay for the Danville Fine Arts Faire which begins the day before on Saturday 6/16– over 200 artists displaying and even producing some of the highest caliber art in the area. Local Danville merchants showcase their wares on West Prospect. Entertainment, gourmet Faire Food, children’s activities, beer & wine! Admission and Parking are free – ride your bike and park it at the guarded bike racks on Hartz Ave in the Balford Building parking lot. Don’t forget your bike lock – all tips to attendants go toward the San Ramon Valley High School Wolf Foundation. My Junior at SRVHS is in the guinea pig class for the new curriculum. The new curriculum started with AP Biology this year and it has been a disappointment. Parents, including myself, really need to educate ourselves on this. I thought this was a State program not a Fed program. Great...
