Video: San Ramon Valley Takes Down Granada 22-7

The Wolves had little trouble against the school from Livermore to stay perfect in the East Bay Athletic League. Monte Vista went to 5-1 with a victory over Cal.

A combination of an effective passing game and a stringent defense helped San Ramon Valley beat Granada 22-7 on Friday, as reported by the Contra Costa Times.

Cameron Birse passed for 188 yards and three touchdowns and the Wolves defense kept Granada scoreless until the fourth quarter.

After losing their three nonleague games, San Ramon Valley has won its first the East Bay Athletic League game to go 3-3 overall.

Monte Vista 44, Cal High 26

The Mustangs improved to 5-1 on the season thanks to Nikita Zamora completing 23 of 36 passes for 302 yards, with Marco Zamora catching 14 passes for 205 yards.

Zack Chang supplied the ground attack, rushing for 171 yards on 31 carries.
