Remembering Tony Grosso

Staff and students at San Ramon Valley High School and in the Danville community are mourning the loss of one of their own. Here is what they are saying online about the death of 17-year-old Tony Grosso.

Grosso was killed when his car spun off of state Highway 24 in Lafayette on Thursday morning around 11 a.m. Police officials say Grosso was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Grosso attended San Ramon Valley High until he transferred to a private school in 2012. 

According to San Ramon Valley School District spokesperson Terry Koehne, counselors are available to provide support to students at San Ramon Valley High School dealing with the sudden loss of Grosso.
