Although the Danville Town Council does not have an election in November, residents can cast their votes for the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District board, the San Ramon Valley Unified School District Board of Education and state races.

San Ramon Valley Unified School District Board of Education (three seats available):

  • Rachel Hurd is the board president.
  • Denise Jennison of Danville has served two years as president of the San Ramon Valley Council of Parent Teacher Associations.
  • Ken Mintz has lived in the San Ramon Valley since 1983 and is a trustee.
  • John Lane of San Ramon is a program director for California State University, East Bay.

San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District Board Election (two seats available):

  • Jennifer Price of Danville is a Millbrae firefighter/paramedic (two-term incumbent).
  • Glenn Umont of Alamo is a retired mechanical engineer and ran for the board in 2008.
  • Michael Marchi of Alamo is a financial adviser.
