The Northern California Boy Scouts Jamboree began on April 15th and continues today at the Alamdea County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton. It is one of the biggest scouting events ever held in Northern California with visitors from all over the world.

Pre-registration was required for campsites where activities ranged from scuba diving, archery and shooting BB guns to rock climbing. The scouts were also challenged by games and puzzles, carved neckerchief slides and visited a museum of scouting history.
