Describe yourself in three words. Dedicated, responsible, trustworthy

What was your biggest challenge in high school? I think the biggest challenge was making a decision on where I'm going to go to college, and that was just because there were so many great options. I was lucky enough to get offers from basically the Pac-10. I chose Stanford; it was just the combination of their athletics and academics. And they gave me a great offer, so college won't be a burden for me.

What's your favorite memory of high school? Senior year — the whole experience, and having that time where it's less stressful in school and more social.

What are you looking forward to most in the future? Probably competing at Stanford for baseball. They have a pretty good team — in the top 25. I'm going in with an undeclared major. I'm thinking about psychology, but I'm not sure yet.

Who has influenced your life most? My parents, both of them. They always have addressed situations with being fair, and that's huge. They've taught me that you have to respect everyone and see the bigger picture.
