Should I expect delays?: Senior Civil Engineer Mike Stella said that traffic during the commute hours should not be impacted, but that drivers should expect to see brief delays during the day.

Why and how is it being funded: The work is part of a larger project funded primarily by a federal grant from the Safe Accountable Flexible Transportation Equity Act—a legacy for users program. The program returns federal gas tax revenue to local communities for road maintenance.  In total, the town is expected to receive $5.2 million for repair and resurfacing on approximately five miles of roads, as well as upgrades to curb ramps, sidewalks, median islands and traffic signals.
