Public Employee Salary Database for 2011 Available

The Bay Area News Group published its 2011 public employees salary database, which breaks down $17 billion spent on employees salary and benefits in 271 greater Bay Area governments.

The database includes more than 185,000 employees.

Below are the top five employees based on total cost of employment (TCOE) to the respective entities. Entities include the town of Danville, the San Ramon Valley Unified School District and the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District. The graphs below don't factor in all payouts, just base pay, pension cost, and TCOE. For full data beyond the top five, follow through to the BANG database.
