Prior to the commission meeting Save Open Space Danville will be collecting signatures on its Open Space Preservation petition.
SOS officials say the Initiative will preserve and strengthen Danville voters rights established by the 2000 Ballot Measure S to decide by ballot measure whether land designated in the 2010 General Plan for Open Space can be changed to residential or other uses.
