Parking Lot Renovation Project at Monte Vista High Begins

Renovation project to affect access to community pool, programs.

A summer-long parking lot renovation project at Monte Vista High School has gotten underway affecting residents’ access to the campus and MVHS Community Pool.

The project area is the south parking lot of the high school. Portions of the staff parking lot and the north parking lot across the street from the school will remain open for resident use. The horseshoe will remain available for pick-up/drop-off (see attached map for details).

Signs are posted directing pedestrians where to walk in order to reach the stadium, pool, tennis courts or classrooms.  Drivers are asked to plan for additional time getting to classes and programs and use caution through the construction area.
