Danville Mayor/Councilmember Newell Arnerich, who is running for State Assembly, tells Patch why special interests "control the agenda"

The real problem in Sacramento is that special interests and big money pretty much control the agenda. I am the only candidate for State Assembly in the 16th District who is not bankrolled by the special interests.

Each of my opponents will be spending up to one million dollars to get elected – money put up by Sacramento special interests.  Be prepared to see just how much special interest money can buy.
