Street Smarts Kick-Off Event in Danville Today

The Street Smarts education campaign kicks off during a special event at the San Ramon Valley School District Offices (699 Old Orchard Dr.) in Danville today at 12 p.m.

Officials include Danville Mayor Candace Andersen, San Ramon Mayor Bill Clarkson and School Board President Greg Marvel of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District.

Street Smarts is a traffic education campaign designed to educate drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians on traffic-related issues and safety. The campaign is a collaboration between several community stakeholders, including the Town of Danville, City of San Ramon, County of Contra Costa, San Ramon Valley Unified School District, San Ramon Valley Council of PTAs and other community partners.
