School Board Race: Marvel and Jewett Win

Three candidates were vying for two seats on the San Ramon Valley Unified School District Board of Education.

There were three candidates vying for two seats in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District Board of Education race. Visit our live feed of results from the Contra Costa Registrar of Voters.

The candidates were:

  • Greg Marvel: The current board president of the school board. He's a retired college vice chancellor and has 30 years of management experience.
  • Mark Jewett: An accountant who has 19 years doing accounting for companies in the Silicon Valley.
  • Dwight Winn: A retired businessman with 40 years of experience.

Marvel and Jewett ended up winning the two seats.
