Elizabeth Emken received a big endorsement over the weekend from the California Republican Party for her bid for U.S. Senator.
Emken, a Danville resident and mother of three, is running against longtime California Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein.
Emken ran in 2010 GOP primary for the 11th Congressional District and finished fourth. Dave Harmer ended up winning the GOP primary nomination but then lost to Rep. Jerry McNerney.
“This was a humbling experience and a tremendous honor to receive the Party’s endorsement,” said Emken. “I look forward to the challenge ahead and will start right away building a strong partnership with Chairman Del Beccaro and Republican leaders as we work toward victory together.”
