Danville Parks Getting Needed Repairs Next Week

Town of Danville Maintenance Services staff will be working at two area parks over the next week, doing repair work on an irrigation line and tree trimming.

Maintenance Services Director Jed Johnson said a break in an irrigation line at Diablo Vista Park will be repaired over the next several days. Potable water at the park will still be available, including drinking fountains and restrooms. The break occurred near the baseball field at Diablo Vista. The field will remain open, but crews will not be able to irrigate it until repairs are completed.

At Osage Station Park, sections of the west end of the play area will be temporarily closed for tree work in the area. Work is scheduled to begin on Monday May 5, 2014 and go through May 7, 2014.
