Danville Council Candidates Set for November Election

Seven candidates will vie for three seats on the Danville Town Council.

Danville residents won't lack choices for Danville Town Council when they head to the polls in November.

Seven candidates have submitted the needed paper work to the county stating their intention to run for the three seats available on the council.

The candidates include the current Mayor Newell Americh and councilmember Michael Doyle.

The other candidates are: Bob Nealis, Renee Morgan, Jim Jelincic, Deanna Sullivan and Lori Hock.

A random drawing will take place on Aug. 16 to determine what position the candidates will be on the ballot.
