Contra Costa County Seeking 'Watch Dogs' for Grand Jury
Interested residents need to apply by March 28.
County officials are calling residents interested in keeping a vigilant eye on the city and county governments to apply for the Contra Costa County Civil Grand Jury.
According to the county website, the Grand Jury helps hold public officials accountable as well as reviewing policies used in the county and its facilities.
The 19 Grand Jury sentinels are replaced every year.
