Construction To Begin on Crow Canyon Road Sound Walls

During the project, the sidewalk on the north side of Crow Canyon Road between St. George Road and El Capitan Drive will be closed to pedestrians.

Work begins this week on the Crow Canyon Sound Wall project, a construction effort along the north side of Crow Canyon Road between El Capitan Drive and St. George Road.

The Town of Danville is erecting the sound walls in order to provide noise relief for homes within the Crow Canyon Country Club residential areas. Work hours along Crow Canyon Road will be weekdays from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., hours within the Crow Canyon Country Club residential area will be weekdays from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The work will necessitate the ongoing closure of the sidewalk on the north side of Crow Canyon Road between El Capitan Drive and St. George Road. Pedestrians will be directed to use the sidewalk on the south side. There will be intermittent lane closures on westbound Crow Canyon Road through the construction area. Motorists should expect minor delays.

The project is expected to be completed in Summer 2014.
