Woman Struck by Car Identified

The woman was struck around 9 p.m. Monday night and remains in critical condition at the John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.

Danville police released a statement at 4:30 p.m. today identifying the woman who was hit by a car on Camino Tassajara Road near Tassajara Lane on August 19.

The victim is Diana Gregory, 53, of Danville.

She is in critical condition at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.

The driver of the auto involved, Samuel Herrick, 50, of Danville, was arrested on a charge of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs. He is currently being held at the Martinez Detention Facility.
