A large tree branch that fell on two vehicles this morning on Interstate 680 in Alamo has been cleared from the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The branch fell at about 7:19 a.m. on northbound I-680 just south of Stone Valley Road, blocking the No. 4 lane.
Nobody was hurt by the branch, but the CHP issued a Sig-alert at 9:08 a.m. so crews could remove it from the roadway.
Lanes were all clear by 9:32 a.m. and the Sig-alert was canceled.
