Town Making $30,000 in Repairs at Hap Magee After Weekend Vandalism

Trees, buildings and lamps were damaged at the park over the weekend. Police discovered the vandalism Monday morning.

Town of Danville maintenance services workers are making repairs at  after vandals caused $30,000 in damages over the weekend.

Danville police Lt. Jeff Moule said police discovered the damage, including a door forced in at one of the buildings, graffiti on buildings, damaged trees and broken lamps Monday morning.

Moule said evidence at the park led them to arrest three teenage suspects Monday in connection with the vandalism.

The teens, whose names are being withheld because of their ages, were released to their parents.

Moule said the town is seeking restitution for the repairs.
