"She impressed me with how calm she stayed," fire investigator Natalie Kurtz said. "She did everything she was supposed to do."

The fire was knocked down at 12:11 a.m., fire officials said. At 12:19 a.m. the fire was under control.

The fire was potentially caused by a rag that had been used to stain a fence, Kurtz said.

"You definitely want to dispose of rags in an airtight container or a bucket of water," she said. "They can create their own heat and that's how fires start."

No injuries were reported.

It caused about $150,000 in property damage and $100,000 in damage to personal items.
