Resident Carries Cat a Mile Home During Alamo Gas Leak

Lisa Dunnigan walked a mile carrying her cat in 90 degree weather after being told she couldn't drive her car to her home located off of Danville Boulevard.

Alamo resident Lisa Dunnigan recounts how her and her son's impromptu decision to take their cat along for a voice lesson took an interesting turn when streets of Alamo closed following a gas leak.

Her cat Sabi, although panting throughout the ordeal, endured the trek through the 90 degree heat and is safely napping at home.
