Police Log: String of Car Thefts, Vandalism and Commercial Burglaries

Danville Police are investigating a that happened last Thursday and early Friday. Police are reminding residents to lock their cars and keep their belongings secure. Police also responded to vandalism, commercial burglaries and other incidents last week. Below are selections from the police call log:

Sunday, Feb. 27

• Animal control was called to the 700 block of Silver Lake Drive at 7:49 a.m.
• An auto burglary was reported on the 800 block of Luz Court at 9:10 p.m.

Monday, Feb. 28

• Petty theft was reported on the 100 block of Alta Loma Court at 9:38 a.m.
• A commercial burglary was reported on the 200 block of Hartz Avenue at 3:05 p.m.

Tuesday, March 1

• Credit card fraud was reported on the 100 block of St. Ramon Court at 12:43 p.m.
• A residential burglary was reported on the 3oo block of Century Circle at 3:47 p.m.
• Vandalism was reported on the 700 block of El Cerro Boulevard at 4:11 p.m.
• Petty theft was reported on the 1100 block of River Rock Lane at 9:00 p.m.

Wednesday, March 2

• A vehicle traffic stop and an arrest were reported on Hartz Avenue at 9:50 a.m.
• Identity theft was reported on the 100 block of Arends Drive at 12:45 p.m.
• Petty theft was reported on the 3400 block of Camino Tassajara at 2:37 p.m.

Thursday, March 3

• Seven vehicles were broken into Thursday, March 3 and early Friday, March 4. .
• An auto burglary was reported on the 200 block of Viewpoint Drive at 6:47 a.m.
• An auto burglary was reported on the 100 block of Chadbourne Drive at 9:34 a.m.
• Animal Control was called to the 100 block of Railroad Avenue at 1:29 p.m.
• Grand theft was reported on the 100 block of Pulido Road at 2:21 p.m.

Friday, March 4

• An auto burglary was reported on Claridge Drive and St. Helena Drive at 4:29 a.m.
• An auto burglary was reported on the 3400 block of Claridge Drive at 5:05 a.m.
• An auto burglary was reported on the 200 block of Alicante Place at 6:45 a.m.
• Petty theft was reported on the 200 block of Aptos Place at 7:25 a.m.
