Police Log: Stolen Cars, `Promiscuous' Shooting and Noisy Holidays

Some of the things police in Danville and Alamo were dealing with the past week.

Saturday, Dec. 31

A noisy party in the 100 block of Rassini Drive resulted in a complaint to the police department at 12:23 a.m.

A vehicle stolen from the 300 block of La Questa Drive was reported to police at 11:06 a.m.

Just before midnight a caller reported fireworks near the intersection of El Capitan Drive and Greenbrook Drive.

Friday, Dec. 30

A noisy party in the 1700 block of Camino Ramon was reported at 12:19 a.m.

At 9:42 a.m., police responded to a misdemeanor hit-and-run accident in the 300 block of Railroad Avenue.

A vehicle accident with property damage was reported at 1:17 p.m. It occurred near the intersection of Brookside Drive and Greenbrook Drive.

Police responded to a civil disturbance in the 600 block of San Ramon Boulevard at 4:57 p.m.

Police received three calls about gunfire during a seven-minute period, from 10:22 p.m. to 10:29 p.m., from citizens on Everett Drive, Hideaway Court and El Cerro Boulevard at La Gonda Way. Officers reported it was "promiscuous shooting."

Fireworks were reported to police at 10:30 p.m. and 10:31 p.m. by callers from Dolphin Drive at Fulton Court and the 600 block of El Cerro Boulevard.

Thursday, Dec. 29

Loud music near the intersection of Diablo Road and Willowmere Road was reported at 10:37 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 28

Someone burglarized a vehicle on the 500 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard, a citizen reported at 12:48 a.m.

Police received a report of credit card fraud from the 300 block of West Meadows Lane at 10:53 a.m.

A vehicle accident with property damage but no apparent injuries occurred about 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of Blackhawk Road and Camino Tassajara.

Tuesday, Dec. 27

A burglarized vehicle on the 400 block of Constitution Drive was reported at 2:33 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 26

Police received reports of three auto burglaries. The first two, at 8:33 a.m. and 8:53 a.m., were both in the 300 block of Danville Boulevard. The third was reported at 11:18 a.m. in the 900 block of Elwyn Place.

At 3:36 p.m., a vehicle was reported stolen from near the intersection of Ridgeland Drive and San Ramon Valley Boulevard.

Police responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 3400 block of Camino Tassajara at 6:46 p.m.

A vehicle accident with major injuries occurred shortly after 11 p.m. near the intersection of Danville Boulevard and Hartford Road.

Sunday, Dec. 25

Two misdemeanor hit-and-run accidents were reported to police, the first at 8:35 a.m. near the intersection of Adobe court and El Cerro Boulevard and the second at 12:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Adobe Drive.

At 1:52 p.m., a vehicle was reported stolen from the 500 block of Mission Place.
