Police log: A Defrauded Innkeeper, Identity Thefts and Another 'Promiscuous' Shooting

Here is a summary of incidents that Danville police responded to Jan. 8 to Jan. 14.

Sunday, Jan. 8

  • There was a petty theft reported on the 3400 block of Camino Tassajara at 2:16 a.m.
  • Police responded to a disturbance that involved threats on the 100 block of Westfield Circle.
  • There was petty theft on the 600 block of Bridgewater at 11:04 a.m.
  • Threats were made on the 400 block of Plata Court at 5:10 p.m. that police responded to.
  • Police stopped a vehicle for reckless driving at Camino Tassajara and Woodranch Drive at 7:15 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 9

  • Someone stole something from an automobile at 2:17 a.m. on the 100 block of Leonard Ct.
  • A vehicle was stolen from the 1400 block of Fountain Springs at 8:31 a.m.
  • Someone stole something else this day from an automobile at 11:02 a.m. on the 500 block of Sycamore Valley Road.
  • The coroner was called to the 300 block of Mountain Ridge Drive at 12:37 p.m.
  • Another vehicle was stolen this day from the Camino Ramon and Sycamore Valley Road area at 5:56 p.m.
  • There was a reckless driving stop at San Ramon Valley Boulevard and Sycamore Valley Road at 11:10 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 10

  • A vehicle was stolen from the 100 block of Willow Drive at 2:25 a.m. but, according to the report, was recovered on the same block of Willow Drive, 20 minutes later, at 2:45 a.m.
  • Police responded to a report of an intoxicated subject at 4:18 a.m. on the 100 block of Hartz Avenue.
  • Someone was harassed on the 200 block of Borel Lane at 7:48 a.m.
  • Police responded to a forgery/fraudulent documents call to the 200 block of Stetson Drive at 12:36 p.m.
  • Police responded and arrested someone for shoplifting on the 300 block of Railroad Avenue.
  • Someone committed a burglary on the 800 block of Podva Road at 5:44 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 11

  • Someone was harassed on the 600 block of Lochmoor Court at 1:16 a.m.
  • Police responded to a report of a petty theft on the 200 block of Royal Palm Place at 3:26 p.m.
  • Someone committed a petty theft from a vehicle on the 100 block of Kelley Lane at 8:59 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 12

  • Someone committed a hit and run on Camino Tassajara and Crow Canyon Road at 8:02 a.m.
  • Police responded to a report of vandalism at EL Cerro Boulevard and La Gonda Way at 4:54 p.m.
  • Someone committed a burglary of a residential home on the 100 block of Pulido Road at 5:23 p.m.
  • Police then responded to another burglary this day of a residential home seven minutes later, at 5:30 p.m., on the 900 block of Richard Lane.
  • Someone was driving recklessly at Camino Tassajara and Crow Canyon Road at 6:56 p.m.
  • Someone committed a burglary from a car on the 3100 block of Stone Valley Road at 7:50 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 13

  • Someone's identity was stolen at 7:27 a.m. on the 1900 block of Rancho Verde Circle.
  • Police responded to a harassment/disturbance report on the 600 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard at 10:56 a.m.
  • Police were called to the 100 block of Blackstone Drive to investigate forgery/fraudulent documents.
  • Someone's identity was stolen again this day at 12:43 p.m. on the 800 block of El Cerro Boulevard.
  • And again this day, another person's identity was stolen at 1:33 p.m. on the 3400 block of Camino Tassajara.
  • At 3:44, someone threw an object at a vehicle at Camino Tassajara and Woodside Drive.

Saturday, Jan. 14

  • At 2:11 a.m., an innkeeper was defrauded on the 300 block of Fostoria Way.
  • There was a promiscuous shooting at Camino Tassajara and Woodranch Drive at 2:21 p.m.
  • At 11:13 p.m., someone was disturbed by music on the 700 block of Morris Ranch Road and called Danville Police.
