Police Log: More Burglaries from Vehicles, Drunk in Public, and A Litterbug

Here is a summary of incidents that Danville police responded to last week.

Sunday, Feb. 19

  • There was a disturbance reported by a neighbor at 11:19 a.m. in the 300 block of Bolero Drive.
  • Police responded to a disturbance by a juvenile at 9:20 p.m. on the 10000 block of Crow Canyon Road but were unable to locate the individual.
  • Reckless driving was reported to the Danville Police at 11:05 p.m. on Sycamore Valley Road and Tunbridge Road but responding officers were unable to locate the car.

Monday, Feb. 20

  • Danville Police responded to a disturbance on the 100 block of Nerine Court at 12:10 a.m.
  • Shoplifting was committed on the 100 block of Hartz Avenue at 3:04 a.m.
  • Credit card fraud was committed on the 100 block of San Vicente Court at 9:42 a.m.
  • Grand theft was committed on the 100 block of Diamond Court at 2:19 p.m.
  • A burglary of a home on the 400 block of La Gonda Way was reported at 4:55 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 21

  • There was a traffic accident with property damage at Camino Tassajara and Contada Circle at 9:50 a.m.
  • A hit and run was reported at the 500 block of San Ramon valley Boulevard at 10:43 a.m.
  • Vandalism was reported on the 200 block of Front Street at 1:28 p.m.
  • Someone was drunk in public and arrested at 6:17 p.m. on the 400 block of Front Street.

Wednesday, Feb. 22

  • Vandalism was reported on the 3100 block of Stone Valley road at 8:38 a.m.
  • Danville Police had more vandalism reported on the 200 block of Montego drive at 12:04 p.m.
  • A burglary from an automobile was reported on the 200 block of Hartz Avenue at 12:20 p.m.
  • A burglary from a residential home was reported at 4:49 p.m. on the 100 block of Timberview Court.
  • Someone committed identity theft on the 500 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard and was arrested at 6:05 p.m.
  • Someone was drunk in public near the Chevron Station on Railroad Avenue and was arrested at 9:45 p.m.
  • Someone committed petty theft on the 400 block of Railroad Avenue at 9:54 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 23

  • Petty theft from vehicle was reported from the 300 block of Laurel Drive at 7:18 a.m.
  • Police responded to burglary from an automobile at 7:37 a.m. on the 700 block of Glen Road.
  • A burglary from an auto was also reported at 10:41 p.m. on the 300 block of Laurel Drive.
  • Grand Theft was reported from the 2100 block of Myrtle Beach Lane at 11:50 a.m.

Friday, Feb. 24

  • Someone committed credit card fraud on the 3100 block of Fostoria Way at 11:18 a.m.
  • Identity theft was committed on the 100 block of Clarita Place at 11:22 a.m.
  • Police responded to another identity theft on the 300 block of McCloud Place at 11:53 p.m.
  • Battery was reported on the 300 block of Railroad Avenue that resulted in an arrest at 12:34 p.m.
  • A fight was reported at 1:32 p.m. on the 1000 block of La Gonda Way.
  • Someone shoplifted at San Ramon valley Boulevard and Sycamore Valley Road at 3:03 p.m.
  • Someone committed grand theft from the 1600 block of Lawrence Road at 7:26 p.m.
  • Someone burglarized an automobile on the 4100 block of Camino Tassajara at 7:29 p.m.
  • Danville Police responded to another burglary from an automobile at 10:09 p.m. on the 700 block of Diablo Road.

Saturday, Feb. 25

  • There was yet another burglary from an automobile on the 200 block of Viewpoint Drive at 6:28 a.m.
  • Someone reported someone else littering on the 600 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard but Danville Police were unable to locate the suspect.
  • Shoplifting was reported from the 100 block of Hartz Avenue at 8:41 p.m.

Arrests

The Danville Police department made 16 arrests last week. These incidents were pulled directly form the police log:

  • Two warrants were served resulting in two arrests
  • Danville Police conducted surveillance of a subject who was then arrested
  • A suspicious vehicle was stopped and an arrest was made
  • Two separate public drunkenness incidents resulted in two arrests
  • Five separate traffic stops resulted in five arrests
  • Danville Police conducted an investigation that resulted in an arrest
  • Two suspicious subjects were stopped by Danville Police and arrested
  • Someone was arrested for identity theft
  • Someone was arrested for battery
