Police Log: Drug Arrests Near School, Identity Thefts and Auto Burglaries

A summary of notable incidents from the Danville police log from October 23 to 29.

Sunday, October 23

  • A petty theft occurred in the 600 block of San Ramon Valley Boulevard just before midnight.
  • Police made an arrest after stopping a suspicious vehicle at around 2 a.m. at the Diablo Road entrance of northbound Interstate 680.
  • Someone in the 800 block of Dolphin Court reported a petty theft at about 8:30 a.m.
  • Someone in the 100 block of Hidden Hills Place reported an auto burglary at 10:53 a.m.
  • An auto buglary occurred in the 3100 block of Stone Valley Road, according to a call that came in at 11:32 a.m.
  • Someone in the 100 block of Volterra Court reported being the victim of identity theft at 5:51 p.m.
  • Police were called to break up a verbal disturbance at Del Amigo Road and Rubicon Circle at 9:46 p.m.

Monday, October 24

  • Vandalism was reported at 8:50 a.m. in the 600 block of El Capitan Drive. 
  • A vandalism was reported at 3:52 p.m. in the 300 block of Hartz Avenue.
  • Someone stole property from a vehicle in the 300 block of Victorian Lane, according to a report to police at 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday, October 25

  • Police took a report at 9:20 a.m. of property found in the 100 block of Alice Court.
  • A petty theft occurred at about 2:39 p.m. in the 100 block of Town and Country Drive.
  • Someone in the 2100 block of Holbrook Drive reported at about 7 p.m. that property had been stolen from a vehicle. 
  • Police took a report of a forgery discovered at about 7:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Marigold Street. 

Wednesday, October 26

  • Someone in the 2100 block of Holbrook Drive reported at 2 p.m. that an auto burglary had occurred.

  • Someone in the 100 block of Rima Court contacted police just before 4 p.m. to report being a victim of identity theft. 

Friday, October 28

  • An arrest took place after police made a traffic stop at about 1:30 a.m. on Diablo Road near Interstate 680. 
  • A grand theft was reported at 9:07 a.m in the 1900 block of South Forest Place.
  • Someone reported at 9:14 a.m. that an auto buglary occurred in the 9000 block of Falcon Street.
  • Police took a report at 10:02 a.m. of an identity theft in the 200 block of Valle Vista Drive.
  • Police issued a citation at 11:19 a.m. for a drug violation near San Ramon Valley High School.
  • At noon, police issued another citation for a drug violation near San Ramon Valley High School.
  • Someone at 1:42 p.m. reported a petty theft in the 800 block of Brookside Drive.
  • A report came in at about 2:20 p.m. of a drug violation in the 100 block of St. Ramon Court.
  • Police received two reports at 3:54 p.m. and 4:32 p.m. of a runaway juvenile in the 100 block of Railroad Avenue.

Saturday, October 29

  • A misdmeanor hit and run was reported just before 2 p.m. at Camino Tassajara and Crow Canyon Road.
