Police Log: Auto Break-ins Lead Police to Teens

A list of notable incidents from July 11 to July 16.

This week's incidents included several car burglaries, some that police think are related.  Police took two teens into custody and say they stole several items from cars, including a laptop computer on the 100 block of Bordeaux Court, according to Sgt. Jack Sideman.  Sideman said car burglaries are one of the main property crimes the department deals with.

"We ask that people keep their cars locked at all times," said Sideman. "The most common items stolen are ones left in plain sight like purses, laptops and GPS units.  Put the car in the garage if possible."

Please check back for more details on the investigation and see below for more information from the police log.
