Police Log: Arrests Made in Traffic Stops, Bank Robbery

Danville police began the last week with several traffic-related arrests, which continued throughout the week.  The week ended with more traffic-related arrests, including one on Alta Vista Way that involved property damage. Police also arrested a .

Sunday, Jan. 9

• A traffic stop was reported at the intersection of Brookside Drive and Sycamore Valley Road at 12:11 a.m.  An arrest was reported.

• A traffic stop was reported on I-680 northbound near Diablo Road at 1:18 a.m.  An arrest was reported.

• A traffic stop was reported at the intersection of Diablo Road and Via Hermosa at 1:54 a.m.  An arrest was reported.

• Public intoxication was reported on the 100 block of Hartz Avenue at 2:38 a.m.  An arrest was reported.

• Vandalism was reported on the 1500 block of Mission Drive at 1:20 p.m.

• A traffic stop was reported on the 300 block of Diablo Road at 9:42 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 10

• Police arrested a suspect they believe was involved in a robbery of Wells Fargo Bank on Diablo Road. Read more . 

• Petty theft was reported on the 3100 block of Fostoria Way at 5:15 p.m.  An arrest was reported.

• Grand theft was reported on the 400 block of Hartz Avenue at 8:39 p.m.

• Battery was reported on the 3400 block of Camino Tassajara at 10:02 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 11

• Vehicular burglary was reported on the 400 block of Woodbine Lane at 6:41 a.m.

• Residential burglary was reported on the 500 block of El Capitan Drive at 12:29 p.m.

• Petty theft was reported on the 11000 block of Crow Canyon Road at 4:17 p.m.

• Grand theft was reported on the 500 block of La Gonda Way at 5:32 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 12

• Vandalism was reported on the 100 block of East Prospect Avenue at 1:03 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 13

• An arrest was reported at the intersection of Indian and Tunbridge roads at 12:45 p.m.

• Shoplifting was reported on the 3100 block of Fostoria Way at 5:50 p.m.  An arrest was reported.

• Drug activity was reported on the 100 block of Ambleside Court at 9:38 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 14

• Petty theft was reported on the 500 block of Danville Boulevard at 11:57 a.m.

• Identity theft was reported on the 100 block of San Thomas Way at 4:49 p.m.

• A traffic stop was reported on the 800 block of Diablo Road at 10:12 p.m. An arrest was reported.

Saturday, Jan. 15

• Public intoxication was reported on the 300 block of Hartz Avenue at 1:06 a.m. An arrest was reported.

• A traffic collision with property damage was reported on the 100 block of Alta Vista Way at 1:34 a.m.  An arrest was reported.

• A traffic stop was reported on I-680 near Diablo Road at 1:48 a.m.  An arrest was reported.
